Sylvia's Place

No victim of domestic violence shall be turned away.  Sylvia's Place will provide a warm and safe place for those fleeing the domestic violence cycle. Sylvia's Place also provides case management, emergency clothing and supplies, personal hygiene products, food, and laundry facilities as needed. Advocacy services are available to help victims access resources and act as a liaison with the county law enforcement and court system.

Upon arrival at this safe house, an assessment of mental, physical, and financial needs is conducted.  An individualized action plan is developed based on the client's personal needs. Non-resident referrals are also available.

All services are provided free of charge to victims of domestic violence.  Sylvia's Place does not discriminate on race, religion, sex, origin, age, or limited English.  Sylvia's Place can also service the Spanish speaking population.  (Tenemos trabajadoras que hablan Espanol.)
