Welcome to Michigan Legal Help’s feedback center. This is a place for us to test new features of Michigan Legal Help. You do not need any experience or expertise to participate, but we do ask that all testers are:
- 18 or older
- Not under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of a feedback session
- Able to speak and read English

Available Activities
Activity 1: Survey
This survey should take about 5 minutes to complete. Your participation is voluntary, and your responses are confidential.
Among all participants, we will randomly select 2 respondents to receive a $20 gift card by email. We will accept up to 100 respondents.
You may only take this survey once. Please do not include any personal legal details or identifying information in your responses. Survey responses will be analyzed as a group. The only identifying information we collect is an optional email for follow-up interviews.

Activity 2: In-Person Usability Testing
A research group will host in-person usability testing at a location to be determined in Ann Arbor during the week of January 19 or January 26, 2026. Researchers will watch you complete tasks on the Michigan Legal Help website to gather information about what is working well on our site and what could be improved.
To thank you for your time, each tester will get a $20 gift card. This activity is limited to 10 participants
