New Remote Navigator Pilot Project
Michigan Legal Help, through a grant from the Justice for All Commission, has launched a new remote navigator pilot project. At select self-help center locations people will be able to access video conferencing with a navigator. Navigators can help visitors find instructions for completing their legal process, answer simple questions about forms that are available on the website, and find community resources that may help with your legal problem. Navigators can provide legal information, but not legal advice.
As a pilot project the remote navigators currently have limited hours in the following counties: Alcona, Gogebic, Macomb, Muskegon, and Oakland.
