Kalamazoo County Eviction Diversion Program

If you live in Kalamazoo County and are facing eviction for non-payment of rent, you might be eligible for the 8th District Court's Eviction Diversion Program. You can use the Eviction Diversion Program if all of the following conditions apply:

• You and your landlord agree to it and to the amount of rent owed
• You are less than three months behind on your rent
• You have income with which to pay next month’s rent if eviction is avoided through this program
• You have not gotten assistance through the Eviction Diversion Program before
