The Legal Self-Help Center of Hillsdale County is located in the Hillsdale County Courthouse at 29 N. Howell St. in Hillsdale, MI. The Self-Help Center is staffed by remote navigators who can help visitors use the Michigan Legal Help website to gain information about how to handle simple civil legal matters.
In addition to the website, remote navigators can help visitors find instructions for completing their legal process, answer simple questions about forms that are available on the website, and find community resources that may help with your legal problem. Remote Navigators can provide legal information, but not legal advice. Remote Navigators welcome any and all questions and will let you know if your question is outside of what they can provide. If you need legal advice, please contact a lawyer. If you would like help finding a lawyer, please use the Guide to Legal Help.

Office Hours
The Self-help kiosk is available during all hours the court is open, however remote navigators are only available during the hour listed above. Sessions with remote navigators need to begin at least 30 minutes prior to the end of their hours.
