Unfortunately, some of our Do-It-Yourself Tools (form filling tools) are having intermittent issues because of a technical problem with one of our partner organizations. If you try to create forms using one of these tools, you may get an error that prevents you from saving your answers or downloading your forms. The tools housed on MLH-Forms(link is external) are still working properly.

All of the other content on Michigan Legal Help is still available. If you have any trouble finding what you need and you are not sure if it is included in this outage, you can use LiveHelp to chat with us. Legal Self-Help Center of Wayne County

The Legal Self-Help Center of Wayne County is located at:

Coleman A. Young Center 2 Woodward Ave., Detroit MI, 19th Floor (Room-1911)

Monday - Friday - 9:00am - 3:00pm. 

The last visitor must sign in for services no later than 1:30pm. The office must close promptly at 3:00pm. 

The Legal Self-Help Center of Wayne County is a place where people can get help with simple legal problems. Visitors can use computers to find legal self-help tools and referrals on MichiganLegalHelp.org. All resources on the website and help from Self-Help Center staff are free!

The Legal Self-Help Center / Self-Help Center Network has trained court staff that can help you navigate the website to find information, forms, instructions, and find community resources that may help with your legal problem. Self-Help Center  staff can help explain legal information, but cannot give legal advice.
