Lakeshore Legal Aid provides free legal assistance in civil matters to low-income people and senior citizens in Arenac, Bay, Clare, Genesee, Gladwin, Gratiot, Huron, Isabella, Lapeer, Macomb, Midland, Oakland, Saginaw, Sanilac, St. Clair, Tuscola, and Wayne counties. They may be able to help you with your legal problem, but you need to go through the intake process first to further determine your eligibility. Lakeshore Legal Aid is a not-for-profit law firm providing free civil legal services to low income people and seniors. Lakeshore's attorneys provide legal advice and counseling, document review and preparation, negotiation, mediation, representation in court, legal education presentations to community groups, and referrals to other available community resources. Lakeshore cannot provide legal assistance in criminal matters, and services may be limited by the number of attorneys and other resources available.
