A Remote Navigator is available to help visitors over Zoom Monday - Friday 9:00 AM -12:30 PM at the Self-Help Center. Remote navigators are trained to help visitors use the Michigan Legal Help website over video. Remote navigators can help visitors find instructions for completing their legal process, answer simple questions about forms that are available on the website, and find community resources that may help with your legal problem. They can provide legal information, but not legal advice.Â
The Oakland County Self-Help Center is located at 1200 N. Telegraph in Pontiac in the Circuit Court's E-Services Center. The Self-Help Center provides kiosk workstations to access Michigan Legal Help. Soon remote navigators will be available to provide assistance via video conference.
In addition to the website, navigators can help visitors find instructions for completing their legal process, answer simple questions about forms that are available on the website, and find community resources that may help with your legal problem. Navigators can provide legal information, but not legal advice. Navigators welcome any and all questions and will let you know if your question is outside of what they can provide. If you need legal advice, please contact a lawyer. If you would like help finding a lawyer, please use the Guide to Legal Help.
