Crime Victims Legal Assistance Project - Elder Justice - intake

The Crime Victims Legal Assistance Project – Elder Justice offers a range of legal services to promote the safety, security, and dignity of adults age 55 and older. These services include getting protection orders, connecting older adults to public benefits and services, seeking to recover funds and property lost as the result of fraud or exploitation, challenging negligent or abusive guardians, evicting abusers who live with their victims, and addressing abuse in institutions.

Clients age 55 and older may receive help whether or not the abuse, neglect, or exploitation they suffered was reported to the police or resulted in criminal prosecution.

They partner with the Counsel and Advocacy Law Line (CALL) to screen new clients. Your case is one that they may be able to help with, but you need to be screened by CALL first.  Even if the program can't represent you, CALL can give you free legal advice. Call 1-888-783-8190.
