Upper Peninsula Commission for Area Progress

The UPCAP (Upper Peninsula Commission for Area Progress) is responsible for development, coordination, and provision of human, social, and community resources within the 15 counties of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Resources provided by the UPCAP include services to older adults residing in the Upper Peninsula, mediation services through UPCAP Conflict Resolution Program, and assistance with affordable housing for seniors and families. The central office is located in Escanaba with 5 satellite offices located in Ironwood, Hancock, Iron Mountain, Marquette, and Sault Ste. Marie.
